International Wireless OEM Awards 4G Cell Site Upgrades to TrueNet Communications Wireless Services Division
June 14, 2012 – Jacksonville, Florida
TrueNet Communications announced today that an international wireless OEM has awarded the company a substantial number of 4G cell sites upgrades in several Southern and Midwestern states. The work includes both next-generation base station upgrades and antenna modifications in support of a major wireless carrier’s national 4G LTE network roll-out.
According to TrueNet Communications President & CEO Bill Johnson, “The explosive growth in mobile communications continues to drive the adoption of 4G LTE broadband services and the demand for our network infrastructure services.”
“This is a significant award for us from this important customer,” stated Kevin Cunningham, TrueNet Communications Wireless Services Division Vice President. “And is another indication that our strategy to become one of this country’s premier wireless network integrators is succeeding. The roll-out, which will be our first opportunity to install and integrate next-generation base stations and antenna integrated radios, puts us on the forefront of technology. We appreciate our customer’s confidence in our capability and look forward to a quick start to the project.” Work for the first phase of the project will begin in June with additional phases scheduled through 2013.
