TrueNet Exhibits OSP Digital Twin at SCTE Cable-Tec Expo
TrueNet recently exhibited their OSP Digital Twin at the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) Cable-Tec Expo – the most influential cable industry learning and networking event in the Americas – in Denver, Colorado from October 16-19, 2023.
For over 40 years, SCTE Cable-Tech has been bringing the broadband community together to share, inspire and innovate. Itis a well-known platform to explore how – at an individual, company, and industry level – we can collaborate to fuel the future of broadband and impact what’s next in the industry. Not only was this our first time exhibiting at Cable-Tec Expo, but we unveiled our new OSP Digital Twin approach that is transforming network and infrastructure management. TrueNet’s OSP Digital Twin is a state-of-the-art mobile mapping technology used to collect field data and create geospatially accurate 3D OSP models. Powered by LiDAR, 360-degree cameras on vehicles and drones, and specialty photogrammetry dronesour approach not only enhances field-based inspections but more importantly captures real-time insights, streamlines data analysis, and enables predictive modeling.
We proudly displayed our Digital Twin data collection vehicle and gear as well as our data collection drone. These were complemented with short videos that played in a loop explaining our integrated technology and end-to-end approach. Approximately 200 industry professionals visited our booth with many commenting that TrueNet was the only exhibitor showcasing Digital Twin and LiDAR technology. Some also volunteered how impressed they were with the TrueNet gear.
We look forward to attending future SCTE events and being a part of broadband history!
